That's just like, your opinion, dude.

A blog about motorcycle riding, by a motorcycle rider.
Why does anyone share a blog, anyways?
I mean, I ask that question a bit tongue-in-cheek since we're all basically self promoting narcissists with a megaphone in the middle of the hurricane that is the internet. But, also, there's something therapeutic about putting your thoughts down on paper, err a keyboard, and channeling your opinion, your emotions, your perspective in a way that both articulates and sifts through your thoughts and emotions.

In that way, writing and riding have a lot in common. Besides being homophones. Riding a motorcycle over long distances can also be therapeutic and emotionally freeing. Being alone in your thoughts, focused on your surroundings, and in tune with both your body and mind.
So Here We Go
Exactly. As I'm on the eve of a 17 day, 5,000 mile, 11 State, solo motorcycle tour across the Western US, I feel compelled to capture that adventure both in thoughts, emotions, photographs, reviews, and yes, a need to keep my Mom updated that I'm still alive. This blog will evolve, it will change, it will go through periods of high traffic and periods of darkness, but it will always be a place where I will share my thoughts, feelings, opinions, and musings through writing about riding. A small megaphone in the middle of the internet hurricane.
